Rock Art is of course much about wonderful images, the original cultural creations, photographs, and art works, and often about the beautiful landscapes in which they occur. High resolution pictures which can fill a screen take a lot of bandwidth. So there is a tradeoff between fast loading of web sites, and inclusion of pictures. We can make available lots of pictures via the web sites of others, which we do via the links below. We now provide some small and medium-size pictures on various pages of our own web site. These illustrate quite a number of different rock art styles, reflecting single historical or ethnographic cultures. At least with many browsers these load after texts so they do not delay access to those texts.
