Nomination Procedures

ARARA Nominations for Officers and Board Members

ARARA is governed by officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) and a Board of Directors (four). All are elected by the membership, the Officers in even-numbered years and the Board members in odd-numbered years. The qualifications for standing as a candidate are membership in ARARA and a willingness to serve the organization. To be an effective and viable organization, it is critically important that members step forward to serve in these positions.

Currently the Nominating Committee is seeking candidates for Officer positions, for the election at the annual meeting in 2008. To nominate someone for a position, please contact the Nominating Committee at the general ARARA postal address.
